Walking tours

Discover Fredericton’s rich history through the Fredericton Heritage Trust’s self-guided audio walking tours. Designed to help residents and visitors explore the city’s heritage at their own pace, these tours combine storytelling, research, and historic locations to bring Fredericton’s past to life.

How It Works

Each tour is available for download in MP3 format and includes a detailed route map that corresponds to the audio guide. You can print the maps in advance or collect a copy from the Public Library before beginning your tour.

Before You Go

Each tour takes about one hour, depending on your pace and stops along the way. Tours are flexible and can be enjoyed on foot, by car, or by bus. For your safety, please use crosswalks, stay on sidewalks, and respect private property. The audio guide will prompt you when to pause and resume. Feel free to explore and customize your experience as you go.
