302 Charlotte Street

While shown on the 1882 bird’s-eye-view lithograph of the city, this charming Gothic Revival house with its window hood-mouldings and wide pointed trim with teardrop finials probably dates from at least 20 years previous. It is interesting to note that the bargeboard along the roof gables exactly matches that used on several other larger Gothic Revival houses in the City, including 92 Waterloo Row, indicating quite possibly a similar builder.
